Alex is not just a carpenter. He is a craftsman,artist and designer. He took on the project of rebuilding my 1915 craftsman cottage and did every bit of woodwork himself from framing to finish. One of the great things about working with Alex is that he is always sensitive to the vintage and design of the work he is doing. He carefully consulted with me at every step, making suggestions and creating solutions where none appeared possible. His eye for the aesthetic and detail took my house from good to amazing. We won an AIA merit award for the project too.
